Microsoft PDC - Partner Development Centre Australia

“The PDC’s Working On Marketing program gave us a holistic and constructive way to engage key stakeholders across the business on the subject of how to improve our marketing effectiveness and to reflect on where we are in terms of best practice. It was a great opportunity to get everyone to take a step back from the everyday business and work collaboratively to identify and agree on the initiatives that will have maximum impact on our business.”

“We now have a specific, measurable and prioritised action plan to implement over the next six months that will make a real difference.”

Working On Marketing Program: 1:1 Marketing Audit

Working ON Marketing – Not Just In It!

Description:

Marketing is critical to business success.  Like anything that has a direct impact on your bottom line results, it is important to reflect on your efforts, obtain feedback from across the business and identify the strategies and tactics that could make your marketing program even more effective.... for example:

  • How are your marketing results tracking now that you are six months into the financial year?
  • What is working well?  What could be improved?  What needs more effort , focus or investment for success?
  • How well is the marketing program aligned with evolving business priorities?
  • How could sales and marketing work more effectively together to achieve results?
  • What else could we be doing to drive demand?
  • How well are you leveraging Microsoft marketing and sales resources?

But finding the time to do this can be a challenge (we know everyone is busy!).  Creating an effective and objective process that collects feedback from key stakeholders across the business and brings a fresh, expert and external perspective is another.

To help the partners that are critical to our business success “Work On Marketing”  (not just in it),  Microsoft has commissioned the Partner Development Centre (PDC) to develop a marketing audit service

Audience: Those responsible for marketing in the business: Marketing Managers, Business Managers & Sales Managers
Outcomes:

The PDC’s “Working On Marketing” audit will help you to:

  • Review your current marketing program to identify its strengths, weaknesses and opportunities for improvement
  • Collate input on marketing effectiveness from multiple perspectives across the business (sales, business management, marketing and partner)
  • Present key recommendations and an action plan for improvement
